THE REAL " TAKOYAKI "

A Japanese snack originated in the city of Osaka, Japan about 90 years ago. Osaka is one of the major economic cities in Japan and has grown its original food culture for more than 500 years.

Takoyaki is one of the authentic snacks in Japan which brings joy, happiness to kids and families.
 

Hoping that Takoyaki will continue expanding its popularity in the Philippines.

HOW IT'S MADE?

Our Authentic recipe is round, fried food made by special batter, filled with diced octopus (TAKO) pickled ginger, green onion, Tempura crunches and It is cooked in a special cast-iron grilled to get the signature shape.

 

TAKOICHI’s Takoyaki is a slightly crispy shell, doughy inside texture, and finished with Osaka's traditional style toppings.

Rowena N. Roman is the founder of TAKOICHI, born in the Philippines, studied in-depth Japanese food culture.

Auntie Rowena was fascinated by Japanese culture during her four-year stay in Japan. Returning to the Philippines, determined to introduce the real taste and quality of TAKOYAKI in Japan to Filipinos.
